The screaming heart of The Ascent - the hill. We run at a hillclimb because we are here to celebrate these things being used! Gurston Down is unique amongst venues in the UK - starting on a downhill, it presents the fastest hill course on the calendar.

Spots are limited for the hill runs - booking a full day allocation sees you in the paddock for the day, taking on the hill with the other drivers in your batch. You’ll book on and attend the drivers brief in the morning, and course conditions allowing, you’ll see a minimum of six runs.

A half-day allocation is split into an AM or PM spot. You’ll have half the day in the paddock with your batch on the hill, the other half of the day on display in the show field, allowing you to soak up the rest of the event in your own way.
